  • Brass Fittings

The Hobbit stove comes standard with chrome fittings, but you can also opt for solid brass fittings for your small wood-burning stove. Choosing brass fittings will give your stove a more traditional look, replacing the door pins, airflow wheel pin, riddling arm, and door handles of your Hobbit stove.

  • Coal Bars

The Hobbit comes with standard front bars included. However, you can opt for taller coal bars, which add an extra row of height. These taller coal bars allow more fuel to be retained in the firebox and help prevent logs or coal from falling out when refueling your small wood stove.

  • Stand

The Hobbit stove stand adds an additional 158mm in height to your small stove and can also serve as a convenient small fuel store.

  • Extended Hotplate

Dramatically enhances the cooking potential of your Hobbit stove by expanding the stovetop, providing more space for kettles and other cookware. This option is easily removable, allowing you to quickly take it on and off your small wood-burning stove. To use this feature, you will need to exit from the back of the appliance using the rear flue wedge. Dimensions are approximately 50cm long, 27.5cm wide, and 2.5cm deep.

  • Side Boiler

The Hobbit can be equipped with a side boiler, allowing you to generate a hot water supply for your house, vehicle, or tiny home! The side boiler fits neatly inside the stove's firebox.  This unit transfers 1kW of heat from the stove, measures 155mm x 43mm (92mm including lugs) x 210mm high and has a capacity of 0.92 litres of water.

  • Direct Air Intake (Includes Install Kit)

This can be factory fitted prior to delivery. The direct air intake system allows outside primary air to be piped directly into your Hobbit stove's firebox. This feature enhances the draw of your stove and flue system, promoting more efficient burning and increasing room temperature. It’s ideal for passive houses or other small, airtight spaces such as tiny homes, caravans, shepherds’ huts, boats, or garden rooms!

  • Brass Airflow Wheel

  • Chrome Airflow Wheel

You can choose between a solid brass or chrome airflow wheel to suit your preferred aesthetic. Either option will add a touch of sparkle to your Hobbit stove!

  • Silver Gallery Rail

These are factory fitted unless specified otherwise. The stainless steel gallery rail enhances the traditional look of your Hobbit stove and pairs beautifully with the standard chrome fittings. Alternatively, you can opt for a brass gallery rail for a different aesthetic.

Please note: The gallery rail is designed for a Hobbit stove with a rear exit, so the back rail is not included. If your flue exits from the top of the stove, please inform us, and we will include a back rail in the set.

  • Brass Gallery Rail

These are factory fitted unless specified otherwise. The brass gallery rail adds a traditional touch to your stove, especially complementing a Hobbit stove with brass fittings. Alternatively, you can choose a stainless steel gallery rail.

Please note: The gallery rail is designed for a Hobbit stove with a rear exit as standard. If your stove's flue will exit from the top, please inform us so we can exclude the back rail from the set. Brass stove fittings are available separately.

  • Stainless Steel Cooktop (Not compatible with Gallery Rails)

These are factory fitted prior to delivery. The stainless steel cooktop is cleverly engineered to direct heat from your fire to a specific corner of your stove’s cooktop. This allows for varied cooking temperatures based on where your pan is placed.

It is removable for easy cleaning and helps protect the paintwork of your small wood stove from scratches caused by pan abrasion.

  • Left Heatshield

  • Right Heatshield

  • Rear Heatshield

These are factory fitted prior to delivery. The heatshields are ideal for installing your tiny wood burner in tight spaces. They significantly minimize the required distances between your stove and combustible or non-combustible surfaces. These distances are measured from the stove body itself, not from the heatshields.

  • Silver Stove/Stand Badges

You have the flexibility to fit the badges yourself or opt to have them factory fitted. Opt for the silver Salamander badge to add a touch of shine to your small wood-burning stove or log store stand! Purchasing this option includes 2 silver badges – one for each side. This stove enhancement complements perfectly with the chrome airflow wheel.

  • Rear Flue Wedge

The rear flue wedge frees up the top of your small wood stove, providing ample space for boiling water in a stovetop kettle or cooking. Crafted from solid cast iron, this component allows your flue pipes to be positioned 50mm closer to the back of the stove compared to a traditional 90-degree T and cap/rear exit kit.

  • Stove Enclosure (Standard or Tall)

Available in two sizes. The new enclosure option is ideal for installing your small wood-burning stove in a tent, shepherd’s hut, cabin, or any small space! It eliminates the need for a separate hearth or shielding for adjacent walls. It features a built-in 12mm thick hearth and reduces the required compliance distances around the stove. Airflow holes positioned around the base enhance convection, effectively circulating warm air throughout your room. The enclosure comes in four pieces and is quick and simple to assemble. If purchased with the stand, the tall enclosure is necessary.

Standard measures 550mm high, 460mm wide and 700mm deep.

Tall measures: 706mm high, 460mm wide and 700mm deep.

  • Decorative Cast Iron Hat

Small trays of food can be heated inside the decorative cast iron hat. Alternatively, you could place a dish of water, or a mixture of water and essential oils, beneath the hat to humidify the room and enjoy some stovetop aromatherapy. The removable design allows for easy access to your stovetop. Available in a chrome or brass finish.
